Whatcha Watchin' Wednesday! ~ Television A to Z - Awesome A's Part Two!

So this is my version of the A to Z Challenge Television Style! I am listing the shows having the biggest impact on me, not necessarily the best shows in each category. I thought they were the best when I was watching them.

See the whole list of A's Here!

Airwolf (1984-1986)
As part of a deal with an intelligence agency to look for his missing brother, a renegade pilot goes on missions with an advanced battle helicopter.

I never knew about this show until a friend of mine made me start watching it, I was 11 at the time, and Stringfellow Hawke was a sad, sexy character who needed my love! In line with its time, like the A-Team very little actual violence, more blowing things up after everyone get out of the helicopter /tank/truck, etc. All in the name of good clean fun. In 1987 the network did a series reboot with a whole new cast, including the son of comedy legend Dick Van Dyke, Barry Van Dyke – looks so much like his Dad. Also included Geraint Wyn Davies who went on to be known for his B-List off cable show Forever Knight. Michelle Scarabelli was also part of the new team, who would later go on to play an alien on the short-lived hit Sci-Fi drama Alien Nation (forgot about that one too didn’t ya?)

Angel (1999-2004)
The vampire Angel, cursed with a soul, moves to Los Angeles and aids people with supernatural-related problems while questing for his own redemption.

 Stars: David Boreanaz, ,

A spin-off of the widely popular fan favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer Series, Angel launched the career of David Boreanaz. Before Boreanaz solved murders with Temperance Brennan on Bones, he was Angel, the Vamp with a heart of gold. Along with the Character of Angel to launch this series they brought along the characters of Cordelia Chase, played by Charisma Carpenter and Wesley, played by Alexis Denisof. All of the actors have gone one to successful television careers,  Amy Acker also did a two-season stint on Angel. Acker has landed major roles everywhere, from Person of Interest to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Arrow (2012-Present)

Spoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea. He returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow.

Stars: Stephen Amell, ,

I admit I first started watching Arrow because of the premise of the show and Stephen Amell is easy on the eyes. Then it grew on me. Then they introduced Felicity Smoke, and I was hooked. Love the smart sexiness of the character and the blossoming vibes between Felicity and Oliver. I boycotted the show for a while when they broke up and now looks like they are getting back together so On-Demand here I come! I will add a small note about how STUPID DC Comics is being by NOT using the already fabulous cast they have for all of their shows for the movies. Dumb move in my opinion, but who am I to know what is or isn’t going to work? All I do know is I will not be watching the Justice League because of the recasting of the Flash. (stepping off soapbox now)

Thoughts on the list, let me know! I love em all!
